Upcoming Realme U-series phone The first Realme U phone is speculated to be fueled by MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. In the previous month, MediaTek had announced the Helio P70 chipset . The new SoC is a faster version of the Helio P60 SoC. The 12nm chipset includes quad-cores of Cortex A73 that work at 2.1 GHz and four cores of Cortex A53 that clocks at 2.0 GHz. The Mali-G72 GPU of the Helio P70 clocks at 900 MHz. In terms of CPU, GPU and APU layout, the Helio P70 chipset resembles the Helio P60 SoC. However, the P70 offers better clocking speeds that promises 13-pecent better performance over P60. Unfortunately, the company hasn't detailed on the exact date for the upcoming new 'U' series.
